Originally founded as the New Hampshire Odd Fellows Home in 1883, we remain a licensed, non-profit community dedicated to providing a warm, engaging environment with an emphasis on quality, value and affordability.
Presidential Oaks, known as the New Hampshire Odd Fellows Home when it was founded 1883, is a non-profit retirement community that has been providing affordable, accessible living options to seniors who want to maintain an active, engaged lifestyle for more than 130 years.
We provide a Continuum of Care to meet the changing needs of today's seniors. Our community is a close-knit network of living areas and services that are conveniently located under one roof. This lets us guarantee that any service or level of care you may need is never more than an elevator ride away.
Anne Purington, NHA, FLMI- Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer of Presidential Oaks since 2002, Anne Purington reports to a board of trustees and is responsible for all aspects of the community including operations, renovations, marketing, fund raising, and the safety and well-being of nearly 200 employees. Prior to becoming CEO, Anne spent five years as Presidential Oaks' Chief Financial Officer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Franklin Pierce College, is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and is a lifetime Fellow of the Life Management Institute of Insurance. She is also certified in Memory Care from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Certified Eden Associate.
Laura Larson, CPA- Chief Financial Officer
A Chief Financial Officer, Laura Larson manages the not-for-profit corporation's operating and capital budgets, ensures financial and corporate compliance, and monitors the performance of endowment funds. Laura also manages the information technology of the organization and all human resource functions, including benefit administration and labor law compliance. Laura has experience in both the construction field and computer technology and holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Southern NH University and is registered as a Certified Public Accountant with the State of New Hampshire.
Patricia Kenney- Director of Clinical Service
As Director of Clinical Services for Presidential Oaks, Patricia Kenney is responsible for all aspects of wellness coordination, long-term and short-term nursing care and the health, safety and well-being of its residents. She also serves a liaison between patients and their families. Patricia has spent more than 25 years as a licensed nurse in various healthcare settings with a special focus on geriatrics, skin care, infection control, and rehabilitative medicine.
Linda Bresnahan- Executive Director, Presidential Oaks Retirement
As Executive Director for Presidential Oaks Retirement, Linda Bresnahan is responsible for the day-to-day operations, coordination of support services, and the development of activities and events that enrich the lives of active, engaged seniors. Linda spent many years as a successful real estate professional before making a career change. Her new adventure, and passion, is the creation of prgrams that are meaningful and beneficial to the lives of aging active adult. She has passed both MEPAP I and II.
