Rehabilitation Center

The Rehabilitation Center at Presidential Oaks provides a therapy following a hospital stay due to an acute illness, a joint replacement or an injury. Medicare requires hospitals to provide you with a list of ALL centers in your area. If they don't offer you one, ASK FOR IT.

All of our licensed therapists work with patients to develop and implement a rehabilitation and recovery plan that is best-suited to their individual needs.

Physical Therapy
includes exercises designed to increase strength, endurance, coordination and range of motion.

Occupational Therapy
provides experience and practice with everyday tasks so that patients can participate as fully as possible in the daily activities that are an important part of their lives.

Speech Therapy
includes the treatment of language disorders, cognitive disorders and swallowing risks through cognitive retraining and oral motor exercises.

If you require Rehabilitation after a hospital stay, you should receive a list of all Medicare-approved rehabilitation facilities in the area.
If you don't – you should ASK for one. You are entitled to all the information you need to make an informed decision about where
you recuperate.

Presidential Oaks kicks off senior education series April 10

3/24/15- Want to learn about the VA's Pension Program or the latest in gadgets and gizmos of home health safety products? If so, then Presidential Oaks has you covered. Presidential Oaks, located at 200 Pleasant Street in Concord, is offering a free senior education series this spring designed for seniors and their family members to learn of a variety of topics. The educational programs are free and open to the public and will be held in the Presidential Oaks' Auditorium on 2 p.m. on alternating Fridays, beginning April 10. read more

Love is in the air at Presidential Oaks' "Sweetheart Dinner"

2/13/15- Presidential Oaks Retirement celebrated Saint Valentine during their annual Sweetheart Dinner on Thursday. Pink, red and purple centerpieces accented the tables to mark Valentines Day. Residents and guests dined on delicious baked stuffed chicken, baked potato, and a decadent chocolate mousse. Entertaining the packed dining room were Celtic musicians, Liz and Dan Faiella, who played the fiddle and guitar respectively.. read more
